Abstract
Ultrasound absorption coefficient in magnetic fluid containing ellipsoidal aggregates with taking into account the dipolar interaction between them is calculated. The qualitative coincidence of obtained results with experimental data on the anisotropy and field dependence of ultrasound absorption coefficient is shown. Figs 2, refs 11.
