MHD-flow in the channels with high aspect ratio: Hydrodynamics, heat transfer, instabilities

The slotted channel concept was conceived at the Efremov institute as a method for MHD pressure drop reduction in liquid metal cooled blanket design [1]. The review of experimental results on the MHD-flow in the slotted channels is presented in the current work. Conducted experiments were aimed to study both the hydrodynamics and the heat transfer of the MHD-flow. Table 4, Figs 9, Refs 7.
