Abstract
In the present paper an attempt is made to determine nonmagnetic particles trajectories in a magnetofluidic spectrometer characterized by an isodynamic magnetic field, by computer numerical solving of movement equations. Depending on granulometry and density of the particles, on the characteristics of the magnetic fluid used, it is showed the advantage of vertical collection of the separated particles. From the calculation of the linear dispersion of the magnetofluidic spectrometer it is showed the advantage of using a magnetic fluid with low saturation magnetization. Figs 2, Refs 7.
