On the force acting upon the bode with the porous surface in the flow interacting with the electromagnetic field

Abstract
An expression for a force exerted by a medium upon a body with porous parts of the surface immersed in a steady flow, interacting with the electromagnetic field is analysed. The formula is obtained by means the momentum theorem. The porous parts can blow out (suck in) the medium the same as in the flow. It is supposed that there are sources of the mass and the impulse in the medium. The main part of the paper is devoted to the case where the mechanism of the medium exchange through the porous parts of the surface is independent from the outer flow. As an example the force exerted upon a permeable circle with a lumped charge or a dipole located in the circle centre is considered. A variety of laws of the blowing (suction) of the incompressible invicid fluid is also discussed. Figs 3, Refs 8.
