Numerical investigation of flow structure deformation for conducting liquid, when it go through local magnetic zone. Three-demention formulation

Abstract
A way of intensification heat transfer by influence local MHD-zone are shown. Numerical investigations of MHD flows in rectangular channel with local magnetic zone are presented. The following assumptions are appropriate: the fluid is incompressible, and the induced magnetic field is negligible compared to the imposed field B0. A numerical three-dimensional method for computing MHD flows is used. The method is based on a finite difference codes and on a fractional-step scheme. Same numerical results have been presented for flows at different Hartmann numbers, Reynolds numbers. The results and the problem of intensification heat transfer are discussed. Figs 6, refs 8.
