Liquid metal flow in annular slot caused by the action of rotating magnetic field

Abstract
The steady conducting fluid motion in annular slot caused by the action of the rotating magnetic field has been studied theoretically and experimentally. Theoretical study was based on the "external friction" model. The results of numerical solution are compared with the experiments. The efficiency of devices with rotating magnetic field has been considered. Figs 5, Refs 8.
