Calculations basis for MHD seal with permanent magnet rotators

Abstract
Results of theoretical calculations for MHD seal with permanent magnet rotators are presented. Electromagnetics fields and forces field acting on sealed liquid metal were determined. In small perturbations cases the analysis of free surface stability were done. Physical processes which permit increase the total head of sealed metal was also discussed. Figs 6, Refs 6.
