Abstract
The turbulent flow of a conducting liquid in finite length cylindrical vessel caused by the action of the rotating magnetic field has been studied. Theoretical study was based on the “external friction” model which have some special features. This model allow to describe the flow velocity dependence on radial and axial coordinates. The results of numerical solution are compared with the measurements. Figs 3, Refs 10.
