Conducting fluid flow in annular slot caused by the action of rotating electromagnetic field

Abstract
Electrodynamic and hydrodynamic processes, proceeding at joint action of rotating electrical and magnetic field are considered. The turbulent liquid metal flow is described with application of "external friction" model. Linearization method of initial system of equations is developed and it s solution is obtained. Optimum values of action parameters are discussed. The optimum significance of annular slot width is found. Fig. 4, Refs. 5.
