Abstract
It is shown that magnetite particles can be efficiently encapsulated into polystyrene particles by a miniemulsion process using oleoyl sarcosine acid for the interface magnetite--styrene and sodium dodecylsulfate for the interface styrene--water, thus creating a polymer coated ferrofluid.
