Simulation of the bifurcation diagram of the Karlsruhe dynamo

Abstract
Numerical computations of the full magnetohydrodynamic equations have been carried out in order to simulate the Karlsruhe dynamo at finite amplitudes of the generated magnetic field. Good agreement has been found between an earlier analytical model (Tilgner \& Busse, 2001) and the experimental results (Stieglitz \& Müller, this issue). Figs 2, Refs 8.
