Characterisation of ferrofluid driven electric machines

Abstract
Thermal considerations are carried out to estimate the influence of ferrofluides in the gap between the rotor and stator on heat conduction. Then one looks at the dynamics of electric machines with a fluid as an additional damping factor. Figs 7, Refs 3.
