Abstract
The behavior of two droplets of magnetic fluid (MF), magnetic compound fluid (MCF) and magneto-rheological suspension (MRS) in an applied magnetic field is studied. The interactions and deflections of two magnetic functional fluid droplets are observed by the photographic recording method and a high-speed video camera system. Interaction characteristics for two droplets of each functional fluid are revealed experimentally. Figs 11, Refs 9.
