Abstract
The convective effects on copper electrodeposition generated by magnetic fields have been investigated for various configurations. When the magnetic field was parallel to the plane surface of the electrode, the results were similar to the previous works in literature. We have focused our experimental research on the case where the magnetic field was perpendicular to the electrode when no Lorenz force could occur. The convective effects have been studied by stationary and dynamic methods and the first relationships between the current and the magnetic field are proposed. Tables 2, Figs 5, Refs 8.
