Abstract
Multi-vortex self-organization of the tracer particle movement has been experimentally revealed in the vicinity of a metallic cylinder, immersed in an electrolyte exposed to an external steady magnetic field. All quantitative experimental data were measured, taking a HNO3 solution as an example. Dependence of some vortices on the length of the steel cylinder was investigated. Quasi-circular character of the tracer particle movement has been experimentally proved. Influence of the change of sign of the direction and the value of the magnetic field on the direction and velocity of rotation in the vortices was studied. Figs 5, Refs 26.
