Structure-phenomenological magnetorheological models of aggregated magnetic fluids

Abstract
Structure-phenomenological magnetorheological constitutive equations are obtained for dilute suspensions of non-Brownian ellipsoidal microaggregates that appear in magnetic fluids after aggregation of nanoparticles of their disperse phase. Magnetorheological characteristics of such suspensions in a simple shear flow under a transverse magnetic field are investigated for the case of formation of structure anisotropy in the suspensions. Such anisotropy arises due to stationary orientation of suspended microaggregates under the action of hydrodynamic forces and forces of the external magnetic field.
