Abstract
In this article, a magnetohydrodynamic flow equation in an infinite region is solved for an arbitrary angle α between an external induced magnetic field and the y-axis for high Hartmann numbers up to 104 using the boundary element method. Due to the regularity of the boundary conditions, it is shown that the corresponding boundary integrals are restricted only to the x-axis. Numerical results for different angels and high Hartmann numbers are presented. Figs 5, Refs 15.
