Abstract
The summary of the obtained analytical expressions which define the corresponding circuit parameters of the MHD stirrer for molten metal is presented. The given expressions and dependencies can be used at the early stage of the design of such equipment depending on a given specification. The article also presents some differential characteristics obtained by calculation using numerical and analytical models. To understand the character of melt stirring and to provide technological recommendations on the production of certain alloys and on the maintenance of the equipment, numerical computation and analysis of magnetohydrodynamic processes in the melt bath have been carried out.
