Abstract
A method to produce magnetite from the precipitates of iron hydroxide extracted from groundwater at the iron removal stations is considered. It is shown that as a result of the reduction process, with the use of carbon black waste, it is possible to produce magnetite with parameters similar to those of natural magnetite.
