Abstract
A stability analysis of streaming instabilities in magnetized degenerate quantum plasmas is presented using an extended quantum hydrodynamical model that includes ion viscoelastic effects. The study examines streaming instabilities in dense, nonrelativistic, collisionless quantum plasmas by incorporating ion dynamics, quantum statistical pressure, and the Bohm potential. Instability growth rates are analyzed through linearization and normal mode analysis in the presence of a static transverse magnetic field applied at varying propagation angles. The results demonstrate that the growth rates depend sensitively on key plasma parameters. The findings are relevant to dense astrophysical and laboratory quantum plasma environments. Keywords: QHD model, streaming instabilities, Bohm potential, statistical pressure. Tables, 2, Figs 10, Refs 50.
