Abstract
The results of an experimental study of permanent-magnet inductors are presented. The relationship between magnet geometry and the dimensions of the zone with a given degree of field uniformity is established. Empirical relations for calculating the optimal para- meters of constant-field and rotor inductors are obtained. Figs 8, Refs 3.
