Single-phase transformer-type pump with a disk channel

Abstract
The equations of an electromagnetic field for a disk channel in an external unsteady magnetic field when the magnetic Reynolds number is considerable are solved. The problem is axisymmetric, end effects are absent, the permeability is infinite, and the solution is obtained in relative units. On the basis of the solution the main energetic relationships for a disk channel of a pump are obtained and analyzed.
