Increase in accuracy of the numerical solution of a problem on nonstationary flow of a conducting gas in a Faraday MHD channel

Abstract
A method is proposed for increasing the calculation accuracy of flow regimes of a conducting gas in a Faraday MHD channel in comparison with that attainable by the method of characteristics, used as a first approximation. Using one of the installations described in the literature as an example, we show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
