Problems of electromagnetic effect on the fine structure of castings

Abstract
X-ray micrography was used to investigate and compare the effect of electromagnetic mixing and electromagnetic vibration on the second order distortions and dimensions of the mosaic blocks. Mixing and vibration were produced by dc or ac current passed through the section of the riser of the ca,sting in a constant magnetic field.
