Abstract
The effects of internal rotation are considered for the hydrodynamics of a ferromagnetic liquld having free boundaries. A drop of such a liquid fails more slowly in a magnetic field on account of the deceieration produced hy the internai rotation within the drop. The angular velocities for the steady-state rotation of bodies in such a liquid in a rotating magnetic fleld are also derived.
