Variational method of calculation of MHD flows in channels with large aspect ratios and conducting walls

Abstract
A solution describing the local and integral characteristics of developed MHD flows in channels with large aspect ratios and walls of arbitrary conductivity has been found using the Galerkin-Kantorovich variational method. The results obtained were compared with the existing ones found by exact and analytical methods. Tabs 3, figs 4, refs 11.
