Magnetomechanical relaxation effects in a magnetorheological suspension

A. M. Savost'yanov

Abstract
The nature oi the mechanism of magnetomechanical relaxation in ferromagnetics, which are the principal components of a magnetorheological suspension, has been revealed. References to theoretical considerations confirming the generation of the magnetomotive force in magnetorheological suspensions and magnetic fluids observed at shockvibration deformations have been given. Results of experiments on the effect of shockvibration dissipation using a magnetofluidic vibration isolator filled with the suspension, operating both without excitation current and with constant and pulse current, are presented. Figs 6, refs 7.
