Fast rotating magnetohydrodynamical boundary layer

Abstract
MHD boundary layer arising near a rigid boundary with finite conductivity at fast and almost rigid rotation has been considered. Layer structure is determined by the normal component of the large-state magnetic field and angle of the boundary to the rotation axis. This boundary layer degenerates in an Eckmann layer in the absence of magnetic field and becomes a Hartmann layer if the boundary is parallel to the rotation axis.
