Abstract
The main types ofseparators with magnetic fluids employed industrially in the C.I.S. and other countries have been described. Technological characteristics and parameters of several specific separators are given; in particular, data concerning gold extraction from gravity concentrates of alluvival deposits have been presented. A new method of gold extraction from these deposits widely used industrially has been described. Figs. 8, refs 12.
