Magnetization relaxation in weakly nonequilibrium concentrated ferrocolloids

Abstract
Magnetization relaxation equations for a poorly non-equilibrium magnetic fluid in a non-stationary magnetic field or in a field of a hydrodynamic vortex have been derived using perturbation theory and the hypothesis of M. A. Leontovich of effective field. Formally, these equations are identical with those obtained earlier by M. I. Shliomis and co-workers, however, the characteristic times of relaxation are shown to depend on magnetic particle concentration and their dipole-dipole interaction parameter. Refs 12.
