Abstract
A model of the structured magnetic fluid in a magnetic field, when the magnetic fluid is incompressible, the length of the chains is constant and all processes are reversible (in particular, the magnetization is equilibrium one), is considered. It is shown that in the small fields the magnetic and elastic properties are determined by two functions of the temperature. For large fields the magnetic and elastic properties are shown to be described by only five functions of the temperature. Experimental methods to determine all these functions are proposed.
