Abstract
The magnetohydrodynamic fully developed flow in a rotating channel in the presence of an inclined magnetic field is studied. The interplay of hydromagnetic force and Coriolis force experiencing a new occurrence of the MHD flow pattern intrinsic stability is investigated. It is interesting to note that in a slowly rotating system, when the conductivity of the fluid is low and the applied magnetic field is weak, the primary flow is unaffected by rotation while the primary and secondary flow are dependent on the magnetic field.
