Abstract
Using a digital storage oscilloscope PCS 500, a computer and its monitor, a dielectric permittivity ε0 and an electric conductivity σ0 are measured from the volume concentration ϕ of magnetic nanoparticles of hydrocarbon magnetic fluid (MF) samples. The MF samples contain chemically coprecipated magnetite \Fe 3Ø 4 and complex \Mn 0.5\Zn 0.5\Fe 2Ø 4 nanoparticles stabilized by oleic acid coating and dispersed in kerosene and tetradecane, respectively. The DC current electric conductivity σ0 = σ0 (T, \vcH, \vcE) and the dielectric permittivity ε0 = ε0 (T, \vcH, \vcE) are measured by measuring a relaxation time τ of the capacitor discharge. The magnetoelectric and electromagnetic phenomena are observed in \Mn 0.5\Zn 0.5\Fe 2Ø 3 nanoparticles. Figs 8, Refs 26.
