Abstract
The paper describes general principles and methods for calculating the electrodynamic, hydrodynamic and heat/mass transfer characteristics, occurring in an electrically conducting liquid subjected to concurrent influence by combinations of different electromagnetic fields: steady, pulsating, travelling and rotating. Some features of the applied numerical method for some specific cases are considered, and reasonable software is proposed for sequential analysis of the hydrodynamic and electrodynamic phenomena, occurring in the liquid. The obtained results summarize the prior studies of the transfer processes for some definite combinations of electromagnetic action on the liquid in different technological processes and allow to apply the proposed numerical method for calculating similar problems.
