Abstract
The effective magnetic susceptibility of microdrop-structured magnetic fluids has been investigated. The conclusion has been drawn that the rotation of such system leads to appearance of its magnetization features caused by microdrop aggregate deformation under the action of a measuring field and their subsequent reorientation during magnetic fluid rotation. The microdrop aggregate deformation features under the alternating magnetic field were studied to verify the above conclusion. It has been found that the threshold value of the field intensity, corresponding to the beginning of microdrop aggregates deformation, is substantially smaller under the action of a steady field and depends on the field frequency.
