Abstract
A magnetic fluid drop immersed in oil and exposed to a harmonic electric field is studied theoretically. All surface charge transportations are considered. It is shown that the surface conductivity can quantitatively change the deformation, but cannot change it qualitatively. Figs 3, Refs 8.
