Abstract
Conditions of the operation of main ventilation fans and their impact on the reliability of the seal bearing fan assemblies are analyzed. The application of magnetic fluid sealing complexes instead of ordinary seals is proved. Research results are confirmed by experimental-industrial exploitation of the main ventilation fans with installed sealing complexes. Figs 4, Refs 8.
