Abstract
The properties of a ferrofluid consisting of polydisperse chemically coprecipitated Mn-Zn ferrite nanoparticles are studied. The molar ratio of Mn, Zn and Fe ions is kept at 0.5:0.5:2. The influence of the precipitation temperature in the range from -1 to +40 °C of salts on the physico-chemical properties of magnetic particles is investegated. Some causes of the change in the magnetic properties of ferrite particles is studied. Table 1, figs 7, refs 8.
